GCISD NATIVE & WIFE
I have been a Colleyville resident for the last 40 years. My husband, Bob and I are high school sweethearts who attended Colleyville Middle and graduated from Grapevine High School in 1989. We have been married for 30 years. We married after Bob graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1993. I attended Texas Tech and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1993. Bob and I moved to San Diego, State of Washington, Rhode Island as well as Virginia before coming back home while he served his military commitment.

MOM & GRANDMA
I am a mom of 2 collegiant division 1 atheltes who both graduated and played for University of Texas.; Taylor Sandy- 27 and Jackson Braun- 23, Adam Sandy is my son-in-law. I am also "Pippi" to Lizzie who is 18 months old. Taylor attended Bransford Elementary, Colleyville Elementary, Colleyville Middle as well as Grapevine High School., Jackson attended Colleyville Elementary, Colleyville Middle and Grapevine Faith Christian School for high school. Both of my children played high level school and club athletics, and soccer, and baseball in college.
VOLUNTEER
We are a family of doers who believe in service to others, and we encouraged our children as they grew up to do more than just attend classes -- to find ways to give back to their schools and community and leave a positive mark on them. I have lived out our family’s values through my own volunteer work. I was the manager of my daughter’s nationally ranked select soccer team for many years- Dallas Texans.
I chaired Dine by Design for 2 years where I did the marketing promotions and chaired the event. I have led Sunday School classes for my kids’ age groups, I ran Students Standing Strong for the Middle School and 5th grade send offs, and I have also chaired fundraisers for Students Standing Strong. The highlight of my life is the relationships I have built with friends and family within our community.
